Wolfie's Escape

Wolfie gallops down the hallway with all his gut and muscle. He sees one of the neighbors has their door open. <img src="https://i.imgur.com/MCkzRtq.png" > Should he go inside? [[Yes, I smell something delicious!->The hungry neighbor]] [[Keep running!->Outside]]

Wolfie got scared, and he goes back in. His owner is relieved, and pets him on the head. <img src="https://i.imgur.com/of7qaZ5.png" >

Wolfie barely makes it into the door before it closes. The neighbor walks into the kitchen unaware of Wolfie. Wolfie is finally outside in the open air! He can see squirrels nibbling on nuts and birds chirping in trees, just like in his dreams! What should he do first? [[Chase the squirrel!->Squirrel chase]] [[Climb up the tree!->Climb up the tree!]]

Wolfie walks into the kitchen. He sees the neighbor Susan cutting up some grilled chicken. "Meow!", says Wolfie impatiently. The neighbor pauses, squints her eyes and then glances at Wolfie. "Whoa, where'd you come from?!", says Susan. She looks at the chicken. "Want some food?", she asks. Susan cuts off a piece of chicken, and gives it to Wolfie. He wolfs it down. "Who do you belong to?" she wonders to herself. She picks up Wolfie, and walks outside. She sees Paul is looking for Wolfie. "Is this your cat?", she asks Paul. "Thank you!", Paul says and he takes Wolfie back home.

Wolfie's not about to become dinner! He runs out of the apartment, and sees a door going outside. He gallops outside. [[Go outside->Outside]]

The squirrel looks up from his tasty snack and sees Wolfie. In shock, he drops the nut and runs away. Wolfie dashes after him in hot pursuit! They run through the street as cars swoosh over them, and the squirrel climbs up a tree. Wolfie jumps five feet in the air to catch him, but the squirrel is still too fast and disappears onto the roof. Wolfie climbs up, and jumps onto a patio on the third floor. Wolfie sees the sliding door is ajar. Should he go inside? [[Why not?->The old lady and the cats]]

Wolfie sees a flock of crows in a tree, and starts to climb up it. He had always seen blue jays and hummingbirds outside, but never seen them up close, never touched one even. As he approaches one of the birds, he trills excitedly. The crows see him and start squawking angrily. These aren't the beautiful birds he had seen! He's scared and wants to get down, but he sees the height below. What should he do? [[Fight the birds!->Bird fight!]] [[Climb down->Back on the street...]]

Wolfie enters the room and sees a fluffy couch and soft comfy beds. There's an old cat dozing away in one of them, and Wolfie snuggles into the one next to them. In an open and close of the eyes, Wolfie wakes up and it's nighttime. An old lady sees Wolfie. "And where did you come from, cutie?", the old lady says warmly as she pets Wolfie. Wolfie starts to purr. "You must be a hungry boy!" she says as she opens up a can of cat food and serves it to Wolfie and the old cat.
